For Authors

Note: The following instructions only apply to authors whose submissions have already been accepted as abstracts. We cannot accept new submissions at this late stage.

The proceedings of the symposium will be published in digital and printed form. The authors have to provide a short paper, wich will be reviewed by members of the scientific committee. The printed short paper is strongly limited to two pages only. Please follow the link for the template and the instructions for the preparation of this paper.

Please check your typescript carefully to avoid any typological and spelling errors.

Please submit your short paper for review until September 30th, 2019 through the online submission platform. The reviewers will score your paper and provide valuable feedback for you until December 31st. Based on the reviewer comments and ratings a decision about the way of presentation (oral presentation or poster) will be given. Furthermore, based on the review-results the best papers will be chosen for a full publication in Structural Concrete or Materials Today: Proceedings. You will be informed if your paper has been chosen for publication in those Journals after final 2-page-paper submission. Anyhow, the 2-page-papers will be printed in the proceedings.

After reworking your paper according to the review, please submit the final paper no later than January 31st, 2020. You can upload your manuscripts or final papers in the internal area of the conference website where you also uploaded your abstract. The papers shall be presented in their final form in which they are intended to be published. The organising committee will not carry out any changes except for adding page numbers to the short papers.

Please follow the scientific committee’s instructions for the preparation of your final papers. Use the accompanying templates.

Please note: The due-day for the early-bird registration and payment is is the 31st of December, otherwise your papers will be dropped from the proceedings and cannot be presented within the symposium.

Format Guidelines

Please use the MS Word template documents available on the conference website with the preset format styles and adhere strictly to the typing instructions given.

This will ensure consistency in the style of the overall proceedings.
